CONFERENCE LANGUAGES

  During the plenary sessions interpretation will be available in English, French, German and Hungarian.
Please note however that 6 of the 7 parallel thematic forums will be held in English with no interpretation.

From Budapest Airport, take the direct bus 200E from Terminals 1 and 2 to Kőbánya-Kispest metro terminal. Bus 93 operates from Terminal 1 to Kőbánya-Kispest Metro Station. By the 'blue' (3) Metro you can reach Deák Ferenc Square in the City in 20 minutes.

Or you can also use the new direct bus line opened on the occasion of the EU presidency.
The journey is approximately 1 hour long but it is direct.
You should stop at Roosevelt square (Roosevelt tér) as the hotel is just across the square.
The fare is EUR 5 or HUF 1,400 (you can pay in both currencies).

Catering and Social Events

  Lunches and coffee breaks are offered by the European Commission during the conference. The European Commission is also pleased to invite you to a farewell cocktail in the hotel of the conference.

The dinners on Monday 07 and Tuesday 08 March are kindly offered by the Hungarian Ministry for National Economy and the Hungarian National Institute of Vocational and Adult Education.
Transfers between the hotel and the restaurant will be organised when necessary.

  Internet Connection: Free WIFI access is available everywhere in the hotel Sofitel Chain Bridge Budapest.
High-speed Internet access can also be available on request (Conditions to be confirmed by the hotel).

The following fares apply for general Public Transportation: the one-way through-ticket costs HUF 320 (400 HUF when buying on the bus from the driver).

The direct bus line, created in the context of the EU presidency , operates with a frequency of one bus every 30 minutes during the weekdays and one every hour during the week-end, on the following route: International Airport Ferihegy 2 / International Airport Ferihegy 1 / Deák Ferenc Square / Roosevelt Square (and return). You can pay the fare in euros or in forints as you prefer: EUR 5 or HUF 1,400. It is operated by Weekendbus Zrt (http://www.weekendbus.hu).
